The Religious Studies Department invites friends and colleagues to attend the defense of Lianghao Lu's doctoral dissertation The Press as a Medium for Change: Periodical Publications and the Shaping of Modern Chinese Buddhism. 

 

The defense will be held at 10:00 AM this Friday, June 14 in room 2628 Cathedral of Learning.

This will be the final doctoral degree awarded by the Religious Studies Department at Pitt, so let us also extend special thanks and acknowledgment to all the dedicated faculty who have nurtured Religious Studies graduate scholarship over the years.
